Former European Tour professional golfer Chris Geraghty will be flying into the kingdom next week to take over as general manager of the Royal Golf Club (RGC).
Troon, the golf course management, development and marketing company, recently, announced the appointment as part of a shake-up with several new appointments to its international team.
Geraghty, 33, has moved from his role as director of club operations overseeing Egypt’s Allegria Golf Club in Cairo, a Greg Norman signature course, to take up the post. “I am ecstatic to be appointed,” he said. “It’s a fantastic Troon managed facility with a high profile and arguably has the best quality facilities in the region, so to be joining is very exciting.
“I’m looking forward to working with the team, the members and partners of the club to take the facility forward.”
