Retro-style furniture and accessories remains all the rage with funky pieces that are both functional and good looking finding pride of place in homes across the kingdom.

Pieces from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s are now considered quirky yet modern and highlight elegance with velvet and plush sofa sets, geometricly-designed chandaliers and floor lamps placed on shaggy rugs that were soft to the touch and welcoming.

Furnitue brand Boca Do Lobo, in my opinion, has captured the style decades in its recently-launched limited edition offering of unique pieces handcrafted in Portugal by a group of designers and artisans.

“This is the time for soft makeovers and the proposal for this light season is clean and very sophisticated, pairing cream with gold is the perfect match – sometimes, less is still more,” a Boca representative said.

The white Odette sofa is a staple in any living room for those who seek moments of relaxation but also nights hosting gatherings with family and friends. The Supernova Chandelier is also a spectacular warm light with an amazing vintage design that combines touches of steam punk and glamour.

The Lapiaz oval centre table brings all the elements together. It’s smooth and sleek that curves and splits into three sperate side tables. When pulled apart, the gold interior pops open. This brand can be found at Casa Arabia Design Studio in Sanabis.
