Our chief reporter Mai is not mechanically-minded … but she does try, or perhaps that could be better rephrased, to quote husband Sam, she can be a little trying at times.
After last Monday’s press night, Mai set off home and noticed an unusual burning odour. She pulled over in Hoora and called Sam for advice. He suggested that she top up the engine oil.
Unfortunately, she took the cap off the radiator. After desperately trying to start the engine again several times, she called Sam back in despair. One tow truck and several hundred dinars later she’s back on the road.
