Pet Arabia, an animal haven filled with toys, accessories and treats, is stocked with festive goodies and gifts for special cats and dogs.
The chain, which has branches in Budaiya, Amwaj Islands, Riffa, Um Al Hassam, Zallaq and Saar, is also hoping pet owners will do just as much Christmas shopping online as in stores thanks to its fully-renovated website.
Owner Abdulrahman Salah Al Khan said: “The holidays are a great time to involve your pets and show them how much you love them. Most customers love dressing up their furry friends for pictures to be used as family greeting cards, for example, or for their end-of-year portrait.
“We have an entire section dedicated to the merry season including sparkly Santa hats, red and green Christmas sweaters, raw hide candy canes and little booties to keep their paws warm.
“We have even designed gift boxes for cats and dogs that are filled with toys and treats. If you don’t know what to get your friends then buy their cat or dog something instead!”
The Christmas gift boxes come fully wrapped and can be delivered to the door.
The Pet Arabia website has had a major makeover too, with customers able to browse through more than 400 festive items such as talking toys and squeaky chews, at the click of a button.
Not only that, but the retailer has also made it possible to book grooming service appointments online.
Sijan Chamling, ecommerce and retail specialist, said: “We’ve finally upgraded the existing website, which was long overdue. It’s now so much more user-friendly and easy to browse.
“We wanted to ensure the shopping experience was more convenient, faster, and easier to use on mobile.”
The store also announced an exciting new concept to be introduced shortly, which is subscription packages. These will contain surprises in the shape of toys, clothes and other items, which will be delivered to subscribers’ houses intermittently.
