“An easy way to work with patterned furniture is to match them with a solid pop of colour. Florals blend well with geometric patterns too and create a lovely layered look when combined with distinctive colours and accessories.”
For example, the Emirati furniture retailer is selling a three-tier floral table in black which its experts believe will create an eye catching corner to showcase knickknacks.
Another signature piece is the octagonal black tray with stand. It’s a versatile item that can coexist with any style of furniture in the right colours and is easy to move around. The rectangular wooden black box not only looks good but is also great for storage.
The ivory and gold coloured pendant lamp can also serve as a statement piece as lights can transform any room. Last, but not least, the black-gold metal shelf is another favoured piece for its abundance of shelf space and design.
Other tips and tricks to make a room look more extravagant and expensive than it really is include vibrant wall paint, chandeliers, mirrors, flowers and window treatments. Remember, more often than not … less is more!
