On a lighter note, let’s talk about movies. My favourite movie would definitely be Erag…nope, I think it would be Aveng….or maybe…Being an incorrigible movie enthusiast and inherently an indecisive person, I shall refrain from choosing any movie as my favourite and rather talk about the most recent memorable ones I watched.
The first movie to make its mark for me is Shutter Island. This Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Rufallo and Ben Kingsley film had me glued to the screen for the entire duration and then some. The plot twist at the end definitely shook me and confused me to the extent that I no longer knew what actually happened. For those who have watched this movie, I am sure that you can relate. Whichever theory one starts to agree with, begins to seem incorrect, then, one needs to start all over again!
The second one would be Silence of the Lambs which is a 1991 movie based on Hannibal Lector. He is an outstanding psychiatrist but also a violent psychopath and cannibal whose victims were often his patients. As he spends life imprisonment at a maximum security prison, we are introduced to Clarice Starling, a top FBI student who is instructed by her boss Crawford to speak to Lector as he believes that Lector might have important insight into their newest case related to a serial killer. This movie made me feel excited, repulsed, scared and then again excited, all together. Both these movies are of course classics and I would definitely recommend them to all of you.
