Bahrain-based author Seemal Rahman’s debut book POV: Point of View of a Teenager hits the shelves tomorrow, November 14.
The non-fiction is a blend of introspection and light-hearted humour, as it presents teenage life from a candid and relatable perspective.
It reflects on the challenges and joys of growing up, the evolving relationship between children and parents, and the everyday experiences that shape young minds.
“This book is about my ‘point of view’,” the 13-year-old, who attends the Indian School Bahrain, told GulfWeekly.
“If you are a kid or teenager like me, know this: we are not perfect, and when adults were our age, they were not perfect either. We make mistakes, we learn, and that makes us human,” added the young author, who also designed the book cover.
