I walked into Marks & Spencers this week and felt like I had stepped right back in time … not because of the granny-style flannelette nightdresses but because I bumped into a stranger and found myself looking at a mirror image of myself when I first landed in Bahrain.
I know that I am going to sound like a grumpy old Whisperer, but honestly I am getting so tired (polite word typed there, because my mother is watching from above) of shows in Bahrain being blighted by people using their mobile phones, not just to take pictures of the performers on stage, but to check their social status throughout the show.
