This last week in my Economics class, we’ve been studying developmental economics, specifically looking at globalisation and its effects on living standards.

Great to see that Piece of Cake has returned to the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay and to read last week’s cover story. I love Sandra’s voice and Alex’s guitar playing offers a Friday Brunch experience where you can enjoy good conversation and fine food, as well as superb sounds. The Bahrain Financial Harbour hosted another free ‘Where’s Baloo?’ event due to public demand on Monday and youngsters joined in the event by sketching images of the kingdom’s favourite mutt.
