Wednesday (Dec 12)¥ Last day of the international conference "Twenty Years of Bahrain Archaeology" (1986-2006) being held at the Bahrain National Museum in Manama. ¥ The La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Art is celebrating the festive season with a chain of activities starting with the movie screening of two one-act ballets on December 19. The first - "La Dame de Pique" to the music of Pyotr Ilych Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6, followed by "Passacaille" to the music of Anton Webern - a musical arrangement by the choreographer Roland Petit.
