The BSPCA Dog Walk is back again! We were too busy last year sorting out the new Animal Welfare Centre (AWC) to organise a walk, but we know you all love to exercise your pets, and how your dogs love to socialise with other dogs, so we stirred our stumps and organised this year’s event.
IT was satisfying to see the authorities finally take some action against the inconsiderate motorists who insist on parking their cars at all angles, and even on the pavements, along Exhibitions Avenue in Hoora.
After living abroad for such a long time, I have come to appreciate things that my family living in the UK perhaps take for granted. For one thing, the perk of having drinking water flowing straight out of a tap. But the one aspect of the UK I really have learned to value is its natural environment.
