DVD man has come up trumps again! Based on the Mel Gibson movie Ransom, Kidnapped is the story of the abduction of the 15-year-old son of a wealthy magnate.
What at first glance looks like a well-organised kidnapping for money, unfolds into a much more sinister plot with twist and turns that will keep you gripped from start to finish (or at least half way through which is where I’m at for now).
Edgy and raw, Kidnapped will take you places you hope to never find yourself in real life but can’t help taking a somewhat sick voyeuristic pleasure in witnessing.
