The team To Infiniti & Beyond narrowly snatched second place from Fore Golf A in the Infiniti Night Golf League at Riffa Golf Club to go through to the play-off stage next week alongside top placed team The Krazy Gang.
The Krazy Gang finished the seven weeks of match play in the Tuesday league on 19 points and To Infiniti & Beyond finished on 15 points, just 1 point ahead of Fore Golf A. Last year’s champions, the Awal team, finished in sixth place with 7 points.
The Wednesday league was even more closely fought with Al Iman Gaskets and The Red Devils both finishing on 17 league points each.
However, having outperformed The Red Devils during their head to head match in week 1 of the league, Al Iman Gaskets technically clinched first place and The Red Devils had to settle for second.
Al Iman Gaskets will now take on Tuesday runners-up To Infiniti & Beyond in the play-off evening next Tuesday while Tuesday’s winners The Krazy Gang will take on Wednesday runners-up The Red Devils. The two winning teams from the play-off will take part in the Grand Final next Wednesday.
