Awali Golf Club triumphed over those from Riffa Golf Club with a score of 12 matches to 4 in an annual competition, for the first time in the history of the event.
Teams of 24 players from each club took part in the tournament at Awali which was played in the better ball matchplay format.
“I am absolutely delighted with my team’s performance,” said Awali Club captain Dave Frosdick.
“Well played to the Awali members,” said Riffa Club captain Peter Loubser.
A prize-giving ceremony and luncheon was held in the Awali Club house after the event for all participants.
