Critically-acclaimed producer/songwriter/DJ Andy Caldwell is due to perform at Club Seven located in the Mishal Hotel off Exhibition Road on June 22, as part of his Bar Grooves CD release world tour.
Andy’s musical journey begins in the San Francisco Bay area of the US over a decade ago. Having a passion for the art of music long before the advent of “electronica,” and a decade before embarking on a career in DJ’ng, producing and songwriting, Andy’s true musical expression hit all new levels in the wake of San Francisco's early 90s underground rave explosion, when the one-time concert trumpeter and piano player subordinated his horn and foot-pedals in favour of two turntables and a bag of vinyl.
With an ever-expanding discography, Caldwell has only just begun to fulfil his passion for music, with frequent DJ tours, remix opportunities, production work and finally his debut artist album! For over the past 10 years, his DJ schedule has allowed him to share his love of music with fans around the world, performing as a DJ / musician in every major city on every continent.

Absolutely 80s is Back in BJ’s on June 8. Following the success of the previous three events, Absolutely 80s is rapidly becoming an “institution” for all party animals in Bahrain. The latest installment takes place when Stevie G and Andy “Pop King” G return to the wheels of steel to take you on a headlong plunge through the music that made the 80s.
There are endless memories and snapshots from the 80s, many of which will be displayed in the venue on the night. Ten years of TV, Fashion, Fantastic Film and above all music will be condensed into a four-hour extravaganza of everything that was 80s.

celebrated Ayurvedic doctor from India Dr Rajesh Kalwadiya will be coming to Bahrain to give presentation at La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Art in Manama, on June 9, starting at 8pm.
The presentation will be followed by a five-day workshop due to be held at the Profile Fitness Centre in Mahooz on June 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. The session for ladies only class will be held from 10am to 2pm and mix class will be held from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
The workshop cost BD151.500. The workshop will cover basic concepts of Ayurveda; Ayurveda body type analysis; Ayurveda massage therapy; obesity and pain management, treatments for obesity and pain management as well as head, face and full body massage.
