Batelco donated BD1.5 million to two social causes. The lion’s share of the money went to the Batelco Care Centre for Family Violence Cases, which received BD800,000.
It also handed over a cheque for BD700,000 to the King Hamad Schools of the Future Project. The first donation was presented by Batelco chairman Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to Social Development Minister Dr Fatima Al Balooshi at the ministry in Isa Town. Shaikh Hamad also presented the second donation of BD700,000 to Education Minister Dr Majid Al Nuaimi at the ministry in Isa Town.
