Twenty beauty queens vied for the title of the Young Goans Club myMore May Queen 2007 at a pageant at the Delmon International Hotel’s poolside.

The event attracted women, aged 18 to 28, from Spain, the UK, the Philippines, Pakistan, Lebanon, Bulgaria, Romania and India. Chief guest at the event, attended by nearly 800 people, was Russian Ambassador Yuri Antonov, while the guests of honour were Indian Embassy second secretary R Raghunath and Social Development Ministry social development director Adel Hassan.  Contestants faced a panel of five judges in three rounds, including smart and trendy wear, formal wear, as well as an intelligence test. Prizes included airline tickets, jewellery, myMore calling cards, electronics and cosmetics. The event also featured the Max fashion show choreographed by Kevin D'Cunha. DJ Aap Ka Paresh of 104FM Radio in Bahrain compered and DJ Alfi, of Music and Lights, handled the music and Goan compere G R Crasto also took to the stage. The event's main sponsor was myMore. Contestant Tricia Teles walked away with the title.
