After their much publicised wrangling over auction lots at the Palm Ball, Debra Wakefield and Sorrel Marlow-Eastwood of The Palm Association were united in their delight in presenting Ryan Cornelius from Euphoria in the Seef Mall with the uniquely framed memorabilia of the team caps signed by drivers at this year’s Bahrain Grand Prix.
They paid the highest ever amount for a single auction lot to date, BD3,700. The Palm Association Charity Auction and Ball was held at the Sheraton Hotel last month and raised BD27,000 for Bahraini families in need.
