Batelco is working relentlessly to provide the highest level of quality performance towards maintaining ISO9001:2000 accreditation.
Within this context, the globally recognised quality assurance body, the British Standards Institute (BSI) concluded a four-day assessment visit to a number of Batelco departments.
"The BSI closely audited a number of departments and specific functions ranging from order processing and billing to network operation," explained Batelco corporate affairs general manager Ahmed Al Janahi.
"We are proud of the fact that the BSI has re-confirmed that all the assessed areas and processes still meet ISO 9001:2000 standards."
During the four-day visit the BSI auditing team assessed two large scale business services - MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) and SDH (Synchronised Digital Hierarchy) and also the Mystery Shopper process at Batelco's retail shops.
