The people here are very friendly and the place is very liberal. I like the weather and the culture of this region and to be honest, the money is great and so is the lifestyle. I can afford things for my children which back home I might not be able to.
Having come from a place like the UK where it rains throughout the year it is great to be living in a land with a great climate. Bahrain is a very comfortable and 'unreal' place to live. It's more like working to live rather than living to work.
I love being an expat and enjoy it because of the lifestyle here is one that I could not afford to have back home. Bahrain is laid back and is not money-driven. People are here to enjoy life and there aren't any hard rules or restrictions.
