Music fans will be up early this Monday for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards on Star World at 4am.
Widely recognised as music's most coveted prize, the Grammy Awards honour the industry's most gifted artists. Each year, the star-studded ceremony features performances from pop's biggest acts and this year will be no exception.
In this year's biggest night of music, hip-hop whiz kid Kanye West tops the list with eight nominations while British soul sensation Amy Winehouse has scored six nods. Also in the running are alternative rockers Foo Fighters, rap legend Jay-Z and dance-pop superstar Justin Timberlake, who have each received five nominations. Other strong contenders are R&B songstress Rihanna and American Idol alum Chris Daughtry, with four nominations each.
