WEDNESDAY (Mar 5)Film - Romeo is Bleeding on Star Movies at 8.30pm

Jack Grimaldi (Gary Oldman), one of New York's "finest" is working on the Organised Task Force. He's determined to meet his ship when it comes in but in the meantime he'll settle for fat tips from the mob. Grimaldi, as duplicitous in his love-life as he is in his profession, leaves his faithful but impatient wife at home while he spends quality-time with his mistress Sheri (Juliette Lewis). But everything changes when he meets sultry Russian mobstress Mona Demarkov (Lena Olin).

THURSDAY (Mar 6)

Film - Interview with a Vampire on Cinema City at 11pm

Based on the novel by Anne Rice, the film is about Louis (Brad Pitt), a man struggling to cope with the loss of his wife and child when a vampire, Lestat (Tom Cruise) offers him the chance to be reborn into a life of vampirism. Unable to bring himself to kill humans, he survives on animals and rats until Lestat finally breaks down his resistance and he succumbs to the blood. One victim is Claudia (a very young Kirsten Dunst) a little girl that they turn and adopt as their daughter. Louis is still resistant but Lestat and Claudia reap havoc at every turn.

As a young boy, Max Skinner (Russell Crow) was taught to appreciate the finer things in life while wandering the vineyard estate of his sophisticated uncle (Albert Finney). Fast forward 25 years and Max is now a go-getting bonds dealer in the cutthroat world of London business. When Max learns that his uncle has passed away and that he has been named the sole beneficiary of his modest estate, he is keen to secure a quick sale.

Torontonian Jeff Karram has decided to leave everything behind - including his family, friends, girlfriend and 4-year-old e-business he helped start from scratch - to become a pro surfer. He takes off on a two-year quest to travel the globe along with his best friend JP to seek out the best waves but after just two weeks of surfing, Jeff gets smashed by a wave during a nasty wipeout, suffering a brutal ear injury and quickly learning that following his dream won't be easy.

This is the story of a woman called Amelia who goes to New Orleans in search of her missing sister armed with her only clue: a wiped out computer hard drive. Along with neighbour and ex-private eye Bill she embarks on her journey to find the truth about her sister's disappearance.

Film - Date Movie on Star Movies at 8.30pm

The twisted minds of two of the six writers of Scary Movie skewer the romantic comedy genre in a film for people who love date movies and people who hate them. Seltzer and Friedberg tell the story of hopeless romantic Julia Jones (Alyson Hannigan), who has finally met the man of her dreams, the very British Grant Funkyerdoder (Adam Campbell). But before they can have their Big Fat Greek Wedding, they'll have to Meet the Parents and hook-up with The Wedding Planner.

TUESDAY (Mar 11)

Film - The Alamo on Star Movies at 8.30pm

From Oscar-winning producers Mark Johnson and Ron Howard comes the dramatic true story of one of the most momentous battles in American history. In the spring of 1836, fewer than 200 ordinary men held the fort for 13 days against thousands of Mexican soldiers led by dictator General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, ruler of Mexico. The deeds of the Texans (including Oscar winner Billy BobThornton's performance as the living legend David Crockett) make history as General Sam Houston's (Dennis Quaid) emotional rallying call for Texas independence.
