In two parts, Kill Bill is an epic-length story of revenge brought to you by controversial writer/director Quentin Tarantino. Full of over-the-top violence and homages to old style martial art and samurai movies, this is art-house drama at its best (and worst) with an all-star cast of Uma Thurman, Daryl Hannah, Lucy Liu, Vivica A Fox, Michael Madsen and David Carradine.
Thurman is The Bride - a former member of the Deadly Viper Assassin Squad - who is left for dead in a bloody massacre carried out by ex-boss, Bill (Carradine), and the rest of the gang, on her wedding day. Her unborn baby (sired by Bill) is killed in the attack and after four years of recuperating and getting her strength back she embarks on her mission to get revenge on all who attacked her.
