A new air-conditioning system which reduces the number of exterior ventilation boxes necessary to provide efficient cooling systems, has been launched in the kingdom.
Introduced to Bahrain by Awal Gulf Manufacturing Co the new range from Pearl air-conditioning products is equipped with the latest technology designed to meet the needs of customers.
Called the Pearl variable multi split system (VMS), the unit is excellent for space utilisation as it requires just one outdoor unit to service up to eight indoor AC units.
"It reduces the floor/roof space required for the AC equipment and enables better utilisation of the space on building rooftops or basements," explained a company spokesperson.
The compact outdoor unit can also be easily installed on a balcony, enabling complete system installation within each floor.
"Unlike conventional models, the VMS has a smaller foot print and service space requirement and can be provided with local, group and network controls. It has a super efficient compressor and has a guaranteed operation up to 54C and 8C," he added.
Pearl VMS comes with six different indoor unit models and is available in 13 sizes ensuring system flexibility.
The unit has no complicated electronic controls, which is important advantage with regards to central ACs, as users expect high reliability and easy maintenance for the higher initial investment and difficult installation.
It uses a high efficiency digital scroll compressor and advanced control technology, which provides a superior system performance.
The newly developed scroll compressor is equipped with a 'Frame Compliance Mechanism' that allows movement in the axial direction of the frame supporting the moving scroll.
