Scarlett Johansson has been scathing of Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton for attempting to forge music careers for themselves.
And this tirade comes just as the lady herself is releasing a record of her own - well not quite her own as it's a album of cover version on Tom Wait (WHO?) songs.
She accuses the girls of just recording songs so they would have something to dance to when they go out clubbing, saying: "I have no relationship with either Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton, even as far as my lifestyle or the music I listen to.
"They probably made music that fits with their lifestyle - 'Wouldn't it be great if I were dancing to my own song in the club'?"
An amusing comment if it's true and I'm the last person to defend the likes of Paris and Lindsay but she shouldn't really say anything about it as she is just the next in a long line of actresses who have turned to singing and while her album has garnered rave reviews with those in the know it has yet to prove popular with the general public.
Surely it would be better to wait until you've proven yourself before you start snipping at other, miss thing!
