Shamil Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ithmaar Bank, concluded its second consecutive year participating in the Crown Prince's Leadership Programme.
This year the bank trained four top-performing local students: Ali Murtadha Abbas Ali Haji, Muhjah Abdulrazzaq Fulath, Noof Hayel Algahtani and Sajedah Fadhel Ahmed Alasfoor.
Co-ordinated by Shamil Bank's assistant manager, training and development unit, Enas Rahimi, the programme provided students with the opportunity to gain hands-on banking experience with guidance from mentors and professionals.
Shamil Bank's senior management team interacted closely with the students, offering them real-world examples and case studies from their professional experience.
Ahmed A Rahim, deputy CE, Shamil Bank said: "The management is focused on participating in educational programmes that serve our country and its citizens.
"As a result of its efforts, Shamil Bank has established close partnerships with various community institutions especially the Crown Prince's Court and its constructive programmes.
"The Crown Prince's Leadership Programme is vital to the development of tomorrow's youth; training and developing Bahrain's young adults is an integral part of the bank's achievements."
Mr Rahim underlined his personal commitment to the Crown Prince Leadership team consisting of students and staff members and reiterated the bank's efforts to serve the programme in the long term. The two-week programme is designed to help students enhance their research, presentation and communication skills with the aim of molding them into effective leaders.
