Despite the financial crisis and a significant decrease in real estate trading, Al Saraya Properties has sold 70 per cent of its Marsa 2 development.

Al Saraya Properties is now preparing to launch its most distinguished project. Al Fareeda will provide affordable housing and maintain the high standards that Al Saraya is known for.

Combining contemporary design and traditional Arabic architectural features, Al Saraya Properties aims to offer a high standard of living for all customers.

Redha Mukhtar, Al Saraya general manager said: "Al Saraya has managed to sell 70 per cent of the newly launched project, Marsa 2 in Amwaj Islands, which consists of 26 villas, most of which overlook the sea in a closed community near the Lagoona and Faye Beach projects.

"Construction began in March, 2009, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2010.

"This year, we are planning to launch several other projects, including the Al Fareeda project in Saar.

"Al Saraya Properties has achieved remarkable success in the past and has been able to build milestones in the construction of real estate in the Kingdom. I am confident that the company will continue to grow as a model in this region for generations to come."
