Bouyed by its success, despite the financial downturn, Al Tashani Group has opened its new headquarters under the patronage of the Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr Hassan Fakhro.
Senior management and dignitaries attended the opening in Zinj and Ali Al Tashani, chairman of of Al Tashani Group of Holding Companies said: "The successes achieved by the company during the last period encouraged us to move to our new premises to keep pace with the evolution of the company's operations".
He stressed that the new headquarters will contribute to the company's accomplishments.
Tashani Group of Companies started in the kingdom in 1996 with the sale of construction materials. Since then the company has expanded into the construction industry and real estate sales.
The group is also considering other GCC markets as well as continuing the development and real estate management of new projects and new product lines.
Group CEO Jaafar Al Tashani said: "Despite the global financial crisis and its impact on the market, the company was able to overcome this difficult phase and has demonstrated its ability to continue achieving its goals."
Real estate project manager Maria Dos said: "The group has built more than 100 projects, including villas, towers and residential buildings. It has also recently completed Al Dhahya Tower, a 13-floor building in Seef, TJ 2 which is 12 floors and currently we are putting the final touches to Le President Tower, a 15-storey building which is also located in Seef District.
Now in its new premises the company plans to continue diversifying with its latest projects involving wood production and a marble factory.
