THE theme of the second annual Bahrain international boat show at Amwaj Marina on April 20-24 will be Bahrain: The Islands.
The event will celebrate the fact that the kingdom, an archipelago of 33 islands, has the largest proportion of waterfront properties and spaces of any MENA country.
Wael Juju, CEO of organiser's Knotika Holding, said: "The scale of the opportunities for the marine leisure industry in Bahrain is staggering. We aim to assist the regional market explore and realise this wonderful potential on their doorstep."
Entitled Bahrain Boat Show International (BBSI 2010) the aim is to launch an attraction for the whole family to discover the joys of boating and water sports.
It will showcase activities from kayaking, fishing, jet-skis, diving, sailing, chartering and water-skiing to promote marine leisure to the Bahraini and travelling Saudi audience.
All of last year's exhibitors are returning to support BBSI such as Art Marine, Kooheji, Delma Marine Intercol, United Marine, Mastercraft, Princess, Gulf Craft and System & Technology. Also supporting the event are Sunseeker, Al Daen Craft, Motors Marine, Charter Bay and IMG.
Tickets priced BD 4 are available from Virgin Megastore (City Centre) and all McDonalds' outlets across Bahrain. Children 12 years and younger enter free. Access to the Super Yacht Enclosure is for BD15 VIP ticket holders. BBSI will be open daily from 5pm-11pm.
