Rolls-Royce has increased its presence in Bahrain with the launch of a new, expanded showroom in Sitra.

The luxury automotive manufacturer celebrated the opening with a prestigious event that attracted prominent members of the Bahraini business community.

Double the size of the previous showroom, the new structure, circular in shape with a unique dome in the centre, forms part of the Euro Motors facility. Offering a 'unique Rolls-Royce brand experience', the designers say the showroom will provide the perfect setting from which to showcase the world's pinnacle automotive brand.

Zayed Al Zayani, managing director, Euro Motors, the sole dealer for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in the kingdom, along with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars recently appointed regional director for the Middle East, James Crichton, officially inaugurated the new showroom last week.

"Today's showroom opening in Bahrain marks the first in a line of new and expanded Rolls-Royce showrooms which are set to be unveiled throughout the region this year," said Mr Crichton.

"The Middle East continues to be an important driver in the global growth of the Rolls-Royce brand; last year alone, worldwide every fifth Rolls-Royce sold was in the Middle East. Bahrain goes from strength to strength with a remarkable result in 2009 and a successful start in 2010."

Explaining Euro Motors's investment in the Rolls-Royce brand, Mr Al Zayani added: "Our decision to invest in a new, enlarged showroom and to expand our dedicated Rolls-Royce sales team, highlights our long-term commitment to Rolls-Royce and the brand's success in Bahrain.

"Our current investment is in keeping with Euro Motors's mandate to consistently meet and surpass the expectations of our discerning clientele. We look forward to welcoming our valued customers to our new premises and reinforcing our position as Bahrain's leading, luxury automotive dealer."
