Wednesday (June 16) Studio Ceramics is hosting an experimental mark-making and drawing workshop at its premises in Budaiya with visiting artist Mercy Kagia. Mercy is a 'reportage drawing' artist currently working on a PhD in London researching the use of drawing as a documenting tool and has vast experience in art teaching and workshops, working internationally in the UK, Kenya, Korea and USA. A drawing workshop for artists of all levels will be held at the Al Riwaq Art Space in Adliya today and tomorrow led by Seana Mallen and Mercy Kagia.
Timings are from 10am to 1pm and from 3pm to 5pm on June 18 and from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm on June 19. Fee is BD60.

Alliance franaise de Bahre•n is organising the 'Fte de la musique' at its premises in Isa Town from 5pm to midnight and tomorrow at Cultural Hall, near Bahrain Museum from 7pm to 11pm. The event is part of the International Fte de la Musique organised by French Ministry of Culture since 1982.
