The Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park made a big splash with its second outdoor water volleyball championship which started on Saturday and will continue for two more weeks.
The competition features seven teams representing different companies and organisations divided into two groups. Each team consists of 10 players.
Group A includes Geant, AXA Insurance, the Ritz Carlton and the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). Group B is made up of Bahrain TV, University of Bahrain, and the Bahrain International Circuit.
After six intense opening games between Group A contenders, first place went to CBB with three points and second place was awarded to Geant with two points. They now move into the final stages which will be held at the water park on June 26.
Next Saturday, Group B will battle it out to see which two will qualify to compete against the Group A finalists. All matches start at 3pm. For further information call 17845100 or log onto www.LPODwaterpark.com.
