The halls of the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre will glitter with the finest gems and jewels once more as an estimated 40,000 visitors flock to Jewellery Arabia 2010.

Around 600 exhibitors from 30 nations will be displaying an array of jewellery, luxury watches and precious stones of every size, shape and cut during the show from October 26 to 30.

Fawzi Al Shehabi, director of sales and marketing of event organiser Arabian Exhibition Management, said: "Jewellery Arabia's variety, size and quality sets it apart from other exhibitions.

"Designers of unique one-off watch and jewellery pieces, giant luxury goods companies, and a multicultural mix of national pavilions all exhibit alongside each other and combine to make this such an exceptional event."

The most prestigious master jewellers and watchmakers in the world will shine on a floor area of 18,000 sq/m, complemented by the refined sparkle of the Middle East's finest retailers and manufacturers.

Eminent jewellery houses and watch manufacturers making a return appearance to this year's show include Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Chopard, Harry Winston, Hublot, Patek Phillipe and Piaget amongst numerous others.

International country pavilions from Brazil, Hong Kong and India, in addition to a strong Lebanese and Gulf contingent, complement this line up. Amongst them are some of Bahrain's leading jewellers - Bahrain Jewellery Centre, Asia Jewellers, Al Mahmood Pearls, Al Zain and Devji - who will bring together stunning collections of famous international brands.

The designs of local jewellers will also come under the spotlight by a dedicated pavilion, which will be co-ordinated by Tamkeen.

Further highlighting the importance of the region, for the sixth successive year, the Middle East Watches, Jewellery and Pen Awards will be held on the sidelines at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa on October 26.

Jewellery Arabia will open from 4pm to 10pm on Tuesday, October 26 to Friday, October 29. On Saturday, October 30, the exhibition will open from 10am to 1pm and 4pm to 10pm. For further information visit www.jewelleryarabia.com
