New deal signed for a range of treatments

Al Hilal Hospital in Muharraq in association with Wellspring India Meditour has launched an international patient programme designed to provide assistance to people seeking medical treatment in India.

The partnership covers several established Indian health centres including Apollo Hospitals, Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Global Hospitals, Fortis Hospitals and Lakeshore Hospital, which specialise in a range of treatments including the ancient Indian system of medicine, Ayurveda. The medical institutions are located in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kerala.

Dr Sai Giridhar, chief executive officer of Al Hilal Hospital, said that every kind of treatment including cardiothoracic surgeries, angioplasty, gastrointestinal surgeries, neurosurgeries, kidney and liver transplant surgery, plastic surgery, total knee and hip replacement, spine surgery, retinal and corneal surgery, ear, nose, throat and head and neck surgery, cancer surgery and radiation therapy are all offered at 'affordable costs'.
