Four soccer-loving youngsters have won a prize free trip to participate in a competition to be staged at the Emirates Stadium, the home of Premiership-challengers, Arsenal.
Team Sagna , named after French international defender Bacary Sagna - made up of Cody Lancaster, 11, Qosai Awadat, 11, Gregor Sword, nine, and Kieran Hanahoe, 11 - will represent Arsenal School Bahrain in the Under 11 3v3 London World Cup Tournament on May 21.
Sixteen teams competed for the prize in matches which lasted six-minutes-a-game with no goalkeepers and small goals, which meant a lot of technical ability was needed to succeed.
Team Saghna beat Team Nasri 2-0 to lift the trophy. The runners-up were Abdulla Ruffai, Salem Hussain, Abdulla Al Najjar and Ali Nabeel.
