Steve Wagstaff and David Wales won the eighth and final competition of the BMMI Shops Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club and the five points awarded was enough to make them the overall champions of the series' order of merit.
The duo achieved a great net score of 32.9 while Alan Baird and Eric Jansen came second with net 33.3 and Enver Salie and Helmut Franek took third place with net 35.2 on count back. Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Nigel Brough and Enver Salie respectively.
Royal Golf Club's golf events supervisor Chris Igaya and Lady Captain Debbie Lane presented prizes to the winners.
A new Monday Madness Night Golf Series sponsored by NHSC will start on Monday at the Royal Golf Club. The competition will tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start and is open to non-members at BD20 per night for the 9-hole event. To sign up, please contact Chris Igaya on golfevents@theroyalgolfclub.com.
