Junior MasterChef Australia, which is a spin-off of the popular franchise MasterChef Australia, is now being broadcast across the region on the Fox Series Channel in Arabic as well as English.
The TV series features contestants aged eight to 12 from Down Under showcasing their culinary skills against each other in a mouth-watering competition.
Fifty young chefs are divided into five groups of 10, where four contestants from each group secure a spot in the top 20 after a cooking challenge.
Viewers are given the chance to relish in the chaotic kitchen atmosphere and take delight in watching the young chefs demonstrate their culinary skills under the watchful eyes of judges Matt Preston, George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan and Anna Gare.
The plucky finalists face gruelling pressure and invention tests as well as team challenges in order to score as many points as possible. The competitors are steadily whittled down until one is crowned Australia’s first Junior Master Chef and walks away with a 15,000 Australian Dollars trust fund.
“Junior MasterChef Australia is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat as you cheer for your favourite young contestant,” said Athreyan Sundararajan, head of marketing, Fox International Channels Middle East. “This is exactly the sort of exciting, world-class entertainment that viewers have come to expect from Fox and we are thrilled to bring this exhilarating new show to Middle Eastern television.”
The show airs every Thursday at 9pm with repeat shows every Friday at 1pm and again at 8pm.
