The CW drama The Vampire Diaries got fans’ attention when it announced that the most extreme piece of memorabilia is now for sale.

The two-storey house that fronts as the Gilbert home on the show is up for grabs, but buyers need not fear a vampire invasion as it is not actually located in the fictional town of Mystic Falls but in Covington, US, instead. Yet, viewers can easily recognise the house as it was featured during key moments throughout the series.

On the market for a cool $450,000 (BD 169,650), fans can move into their favourite fictional characters home. Built in 1921, it covers 5,901 sq/ft and has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Fans of the show can also take a short walk to the downtown area, which is frequently shown throughout the series.

In the latest episode, bad guy and hybrid (both werewolf and vampire) Klaus, vandalises the Gilbert house in an attempt to lure a victim away.

The Vampire Diaries airs on MBC 4/MBC 4 HD on Thursdays at 10.25am, Fridays at 5am, Mondays at 11pm and Tuesdays at 6pm.
