THE team of Shaikh Rashid Al Khalifa, Phil Durnford, Mikael Leijonberg and Sanne Smith took frst place in the annual Seef Dental Corporate Golf Day at the Royal Golf Club with a stunning nett score of 57.
Graeme Newport, Mohamed Al Fedhala, Evelyn Rimmer and Wayne Giles took the runners up spot with a score of 58.2 nett while Barry Hobday, Mike Thompson, Stan Kwik and Julie Dixon made up the top three with a nett score of 59.1.
A full feld of 100 competitors took part in the highly-popular Texas Scramble tournament on the Club’s challenging Montgomerie championship course. Competitors each received a Seef Dental goody bag and a shirt. African & Eastern provided beverages for them on holes 5 and 15.
A prize giving ceremony and a themed lunch took place in the club’s Majlis function room after the competition.
“Seef Dental have put on another great event this afternoon,” said John Wilson, the Royal Golf Club’s Golf Sales & Events manager. “Their event is probably one of the most popular of the year. By getting the backing of co-sponsors such as Kenneth Cole, Ivent ITs, Ramada Hotel, A&E, Dilmun Club, Rawabi Trading and Beauty Spot, it really generates excitement between competitors when they know they are playing for such great prizes.”
