MORE than 80 players competed at the Awali Golf Club course for the inaugural Shaikh Hamad bin Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa Trophy competition.
The overall winner Khalid Salem captured the cup with a superb round of 3-under-par gross 67. In the runner-up position was Ebrahim Al Hashel on 70 and Rashid Al Qutami took third place with 72.
Prizes were also awarded for nett scores, as follows: 1st: Salah Al Shaer (nett 64 /gross 76), 2nd: Brian Davis (64/85), 3rd: Mahmood Falamarzi (65/79), 4th: Lynn St Lawrence (66/87), 5th: Nasser Eid (67/77).
