The new Audi A8 L was unveiled at an event held at the Royal Golf Club.
Representative of a new A8 model lineup, the Audi A8 L boasts superb craftsmanship and a broad portfolio of high-end technologies, its makers say.

Boasting new assistance systems, more powerful and efficient engines and Matrix LED headlights, the A8 L aims to deliver a ‘superior driving experience’.
The standard-wheelbase A8 50 TFSI Quattro has a curb weight of 1,830 kilogrammes – the lowest value among the competitors with all-wheel drive. An Audi Space Frame made almost entirely of aluminum, weighs just 231kg.
There is a choice of 12 exterior colours, including five new ones. Wheel sizes range up to 21 inches for all models.
There are many additional luxury features such as the fully integrated rear seat entertainment and the cabin air ioniser (standard in the S8 and W12), even refrigerator in the rear seat back.
The infotainment works via the MMI control unit with a large rotary pushbutton. With the MMI Navigation Plus, the system also includes a touchpad. The driver can enter characters via the MMI touch to control numerous navigation and multimedia functions.
Passengers can surf the web and email on their mobile devices using the Wi-Fi hotspot.
The new Audi A8 will initially be offered with two gasoline engines. These are the supercharged 50 TFSI with 310bhp and the V8 bi-turbo 60 TFSI with 435bhp.
The 60 TFSI accelerates the A8 from 0 to 100kmph in 4.5 seconds.
The classic variants are joined by two additional models. The luxurious top-of-the-line model is the Audi A8 L W12, which comes standard with a comprehensive range of equipment. Displacing 6.3 litres, the engine produces 500bhp.
Meanwhile, with 520bhp, the S8 accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 4.1 seconds.
