Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), will be providing sponsorship to the Awali Golf Club to support teams and services for the 2014-2015 season as part of its commitment towards highlighting Bahrain’s reputation as a key hub for golf tournaments
The cheque for an undisclosed sum was presented by Alba’s director for Administration, Abdul Rahman Janahi to the Captain of Awali Golf Club, A. Elah Fakhroo and Sponsorship member, Zygmunt A. S. Trzebinski.
Mr Janahi said: “Alba believes that sports play a key role in the development of the community. The Awali Golf Club has raised the kingdom’s profile as a golfing destination. We are pleased to provide sponsorship to the club, which underlines our commitment to sports events and activities in the kingdom and the region.”
