Ali Saleh narrowly won the second round of the Audi Quattro qualifying series at the Royal Golf Club with 39 Stableford points.
Ahmed M Ahmed clinched the runners-up spot with 38 points on countback and Arnaud Robert took third place with the same score. Robert now tops the overall order of merit after two qualifying rounds, just one point ahead of Stephen Hill.
Yousif Majid won the nearest the pin side contest on the 7th hole.
A strong field of 75 competitors turned out for the tournament which was open to both members and visitors with valid handicap certificates.
The Audi quattro Cup Series will be played out over a total of nine rounds at the Royal Golf Club, with participants accumulating Stableford points over the series.
After the final round, the two players with the most Stableford points from eight out of nine rounds will be selected to represent Bahrain as one of the 60 teams competing in the world finals.
With more than 100,000 players competing in 750 tournaments in 54 countries annually, the Audi quattro Cup has developed into the biggest worldwide amateur golf tournament series.
