The editor of this newspaper occasionally pops into Bahrain International Airport to pick up family, friends and business acquaintances and couldn’t help noticing that for several months a red Dodge Charger similar to his own has been parked in a bay in the short-term car park near the entrance.
It was there again on Sunday night, same place, same spot, now covered in a thick layer of dust with a few finger messages and drawings scrawled on it no doubt by bored folk waiting to collect loved ones.
Will the owner ever fly back to pick it up? What will be price be for the parking ticket? Will it ever be towed away? The mystery continues …
