As part of the Manama Gulf Capital of Tourism 2016, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority presents ‘Snow in Summer’ at the Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Centre until Saturday. The exhibition will feature a variety of fun-filled attractions such as a snow forest maze, an ice-cutting show, a snowball match and a frozen cinema, among other activities.

The exhibition, which is open from 3pm to 11pm, is free for children under the age of two and costs BD3 for those aged three to 14. Those over 15 pay BD5 to enter.

Friday (July 15)
Explore a variety of cuisines every Friday at Downtown Rotana Bahrain’s Flavours restaurant from noon until 4pm with live cooking stations and mocktails bar for BD24++, including selected beverages, and BD20++ with soft drinks and juices. Diners will also enjoy free pool access until 7 pm. There is also a supervised children’s room with toys and games for all ages.

An exhibition continues at the Bahrain National Museum celebrating the strong civil and military aviation heritage between Bahrain and the UK.

The centrepiece is a Supermarine Spitfire, which first flew 80 years ago. The exhibition runs until October 23.

Bollywood Steps Dance Studio is organising a dance and fitness camp for children until August 31 at Ramli Mall in A’ali and at Somerset Al Fateh in Juffair. The Berlitz Bahrain Summer Camp runs until August 30 and provides children aged five to 15 with a range of activities such as learning a new language, taekwondo and art and cooking classes. It’s organised by Berltiz Bahrain and Bodyline Fitness Centre and the activities will take place between their locations in Budaiya and Saar. The prices vary depending on how many days and activities kids sign up for. One week is priced at BD60 and a month costs BD200.
