Steven Hill enjoyed a comfortable win in this week’s Monday Night Lights competition at the Royal Golf Club, scoring 21 points, two points ahead of runner-up Rob Lane who finished on 19.

The count back system was used to determine third place after three competitors all achieved 18 points apiece.

Murtuz Zamanly took third place with Sattam Al Gosaibi and Rajinder Sachdeva taking fourth and fifth respectively.

The individual stableford rainbow challenge competition was played under floodlights on the back 9 holes of the club’s Montgomerie championship course. The evening was rounded-off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Members’ Lounge.

The Monday Night Lights 9 hole competitions are open to club members and to non-members with an official handicap at a cost of BD20 per night green fee plus a BD2 entry fee. The competitions tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start. Non-handicap golfers are also welcome to play and can use their scores to work towards achieving an official handicap.
