The duo of David Wales and Stephen Wagstaff narrowly won the fourth competition of the Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club after a four-way tie on points was settled using the count back system.
The pairing of Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed and Khalifa Al Merisi clinched second place, Anil Nair and playing partner Ravi Krishnan came third and Naeem Khan and Rajinder Sachdeva came fourth, all with 23 points apiece.
A nearest the pin side contest on hole 12 was won by Zakaria Nasser while Steven Hill claimed a prize for getting nearest to the pin in two shots on the 18th hole.
Adam Dutson, the Royal Golf Club’s Tournament Coordinator, was on hand to present the prizes on behalf of Coca-Cola in the Members’ Lounge.
The Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series competitions take place at the Royal Golf Club every Monday evening.
The 9-hole competitions are open to nonmembers at a cost of BD20 per night and tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start.
