Tamkeen and the Global Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) held the Accelerator Programme’s first awareness session for the first time in Bahrain.
A thorough presentation has been given covering the programme’s eligibility criteria and registration’s processes through Tamkeen’s online portal.
The accelerator programme is open to all Bahraini entrepreneurs, founders, co-founders, owners and controlling shareholders of any enterprise that has been operational for no less than three years.
This newly-developed programme targeting 15 Bahraini entrepreneurs has been tested and applied in a number of countries and has resulted in ‘great success’ for many businesses that needed non-financial support to expand. This included training and mentoring. Since its launch in 2007, 2,804 businesses have participated.
Tamkeen announced earlier the signing of a memorandum of understanding with EO to execute the programme with the purpose of ‘leading Bahraini entrepreneurs towards greater success on all levels’.
