The James Bond franchise has finally decided to shake things up by adding a new hero to its ranks. Many thought it would be Idris Elba…since a lot of controversy revolved around that decision for the past few years. However, lady luck shined upon British actress Lashana Lynch, who appeared as a fighter pilot Captain Marvel, alongside Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson.

I’m guessing the reason the franchise is ok with this is because Bond (Daniel Craig) is still technically Bond but since he is retiring, he is being replaced as 007 by Lashana. While I’m positive many people out there are cheering on this fierce female for landing the role and thinking it’s about time for such a change…. how do you all really feel about it? Bond 25 is expected to premiere in April 2020.
