Last week the GulfWeekly featured the innovative Can Company started up by a team of University of Bahrain Students who had a desire to help protect the environment by creating clay bottles for people to drink out of.
The team is made up of Ahmed Muneer, Ohood Muthana, Esraa Isa, Zainab AlHujairi, Zainab Ali and Rahma Aleskafi. The team also includes Ruqaya Mustafa. She is the product development head for the company.
She had written to GulfWeekly to inform us and we are delighted to feature her name with the squad.
Ruqaya said: “I have been working in the Can Company from the beginning and I still am. Product design and stage arrangements are the most important and critical stages in the company. It took a long time for us because we wanted to create the best product possible that can help us save the environment as well as recover our culture in a modern way.”
